Leave This Place
I am ready to leave this place, to move on,
I am ready, I am strong
I am ready, and away I will walk,
I am ready to do more than talk
I am willing to put the past behind me,
I am willing, to open my eyes and see
I am ready to see just what life is like...
I am ready and this is my time!
I am ready to leave this place behind!
I am ready to walk a thousand miles!
I am ready to go forward and learn!
I am ready to watch this place burn!
Burn...burn away...
Erasing what...was yesterday...
I am ready and willing,
To suffer for what I believe
And I am ready and willing,
To take everything that I need!
I am ready to open a door to a new life,
And to hold you in my arms, all through the night!
I am ready to see just what life is like...
And this is my time!
I am ready to leave this place behind!
I am ready to walk a thousand miles!
I am ready to go forward and learn!
I am ready to watch this place burn!
Burn...burn away...
Erasing what...was yesterday...
Leaving this place,
Is not as hard as I thought it would be...
I guess this place was never really meant for me...
I...I look ahead...
And see nothing in my path,
That I must dread!
I am ready to leave this place behind!
I am ready to walk a thousand miles!
I am ready to go forward and learn!
I am ready to watch this place burn!
Burn...burn away...
Erasing what...was yesterday...

we are the moment.

i'm scared i

everyone has to be somewhere.

and i guess
i'll go home now,
because
we smell, of smoke
from our favorite brand of
cigarrettes, and
we're not even smokers.

everyone needs a place to stay.

and i still plan to
color my scars someday,
but for now
i'll have to do

-
everyone wants to be in love.

but,
don't you
break
my
heart, because i
just
want to go home.
-
don't you believe me. i'm a liar.
-
and if i
swore that
tomorrow
never came,
even though we still believed
in yesterday
then we,
are only meant to
be liars, and i

the things we'll never say.

snakes crawl out of my mouth,
hands like sleep waiting silently
for me to give into them.
i toss words like rocks
across my tongue, skipping
across the lake, and we reach,
hands outstretched, for the sun
but it's a shame it's all empty.

listen, if you loved me, you
wouldn't try to fix me.
if you loved me, you'd paint
butterflies across the wall
to make me smile. listen,
if you loved me, you'd give
me handrails to hold onto
on the way down. you'd tell me
that right now, i'm a caterpillar
(but that caterpillars become
butterflies.) listen,
if you loved me,
you'd love me broken, too.

Closest To Home
The sun passes through the curtains of clouds,
To say goodbye for another night to fall.
To sit on the porch of the rugged cabin,
Is to feel at ease with the breezy wind.
I watch as the mistress night's veil,
Conquers the world for yet another time.
As Shiva's children bless the air with a,
Blessed, loving chill. Hot chocolate to sip.
As my lips get covered in whipped cream.
The stars blanket the night sky,
Quilting the desires and dreams,
Of Those who are alive, so they too,
Can have a chance to thrive.
The breezy wind slows and the moon
Begins to glow incandescently upon my
Relaxed reality. In this realm, relaxation blooms,

Again, life changes. Old places that are new again, old friends unseen for years.
A new life, with a new focus.
It's time to leave this place, and I am ready.

It's time to leave this place, and I am ready.
