Fractured

I'm not known for my patience,
And most would agree
I do not believe,
In blind stupidity
This view of mine,
Has caused me some grief,
But it has not kept me,
From the answers I seek

I'll defend my family,
With my dying breath
I will fight on,
Until I've nothing left
If you cross me,
I'll leave you for dead,
And that's just a promise,
So don't consider it a test

Sometimes I feel broken,
Sometimes I feel bruised
Sometimes how I'm feeling,
I don't have a clue
The gears in my mind,
Spin free all the time
Keeping me awake,
Untill the morning light

The pain that I feel,
I cannot describe
Sometimes I wonder,
If maybe I've died
But if this is heaven,
I don't want to see hell
I think I get by,
And somehow I do it well

I do not give my trust,
At all easily,
And if you break it,
Then be prepared to bleed
If you look me in the eyes,
And still you deceive,
I will rip you apart,
And grant you no reprieve

Jealousy is the sin,
That I most despise
All this rampant envy,
It makes me cry
If you covet my words,
With evil designs,
I'll make it my mission,
To completely destroy your life

Everything's fractured!
Everything's torn!
I say!
I'm feeling tired!
I'm feeling worn!
I pray!
God will forgive me!
For the things I have done!
I know!
I...am not alone...
I'm not the only one who feels fractured!
