I always try to live,
Exactly as I teach...
If there's one thing that I can't stand,
It's all this rampant hipocrisy...
And I will always remember the things,
That my grandfather said to me...
To freely love, to expect nothing in return,
To do it unconditionally...

He was the wisest man,
That I've ever known,
He set my feet down,
On the path that I have gone,
He said that practise makes it perfect,
If you'll only wait and see...

He said, "Anything is possible,
As long as you believe...!"

For the rest of my life!
I will give a little more,
To everyone I know,
Plant a million seeds,
Stand up, and watch them grow,
Always realize,
I am right where I belong,
Get down on my knees,
Thank God for the love I'm shown...!
I will be a little kinder,
Respond a little faster,
Try to help the world,
Avoid the next disaster,
I will keep...all these things in mind...
For the rest of my life...

I watch my little girl,
See her grow as she learns,
Peek into her mind,
And watch the wheels turn
I love the way her smile,
Lights up her eyes...
(And I will, for the rest of my life...)

I see her get all bossy,
It's funny when she's sassy,
And she makes a lot of messes,
It gets a little nasty,
But I promise you I wouldn't have it,
Any other way...

I treat her like my grandpa treated me...

He taught me how to do it,

We may learn most of what we need to know as children from our parents, but it's our grandparents that will show us what we can be if we truly DO learn what we are taught. They will teach us how to LIVE. My grandpa saw who I could be, he taught me accordingly, because he loved me.

He still does, somewhere.

I've said it before, and I will say it now, thank you, for everything. I did the work but YOU showed me HOW, and I do the same, for anyone willing to take a moment to listen. You taught me that perspective was the most important thing in life, through it, we learn to love, and to believe.

I miss you, so much, always.
