Is like a red, red rose,
It fades, and it dies,
That's just how it goes
Once upon a time,
I would have violently,
Disagreed,
But that was before you
Brought me to my knees

You gave me promises,
That you had no intention,
Of trying to keep,
Where I was once so strong,
You made me so weak
You toyed with my passions,
Inflaming desires in me,
And now your actions have scarred,
Just like a disease

I used to be intoxicated,
By the smell and the feel of you,
But now all I have left,
Is this painful, emotional,
Bruise
Your taste was so sugary,
I thought you filled my needs,
But you didn't taste like I thought you did,
