Angels Among Us

Some people,
Think babies,
Are angels born again
So pure and full of innocence,
So free of evil and sin

Some people,
Think angels,
Are nothing more than myth,
Creations of our own minds,
A way for us to remain blind

Some people,
Think miracles,
Only happen once in a lifetime,
But I know that this is not true,
I know it every time I look into her eyes

I think,
That angels,
Walk among us everyday
They see the course that your life takes,
And record the debts that you have paid

Angels among us,
Forever walking on,
Spreading their wings,
And taking flight,
Sheltering us from the storms

I believe,
That angels exist you see
I don't think they are a case,
Of altered reality,
Or whimsical fantasy
